Gertrude Marshall Society

Gertrude Marshall
Gertrude Mathews Marshall gave unceasingly of her time, energy, talent and financial resources as a founder of the University of Missouri-Columbia Peace Studies Program in the early 1970s. To this day, her charitable gifts support the Peace Perspectives Lectures at MU.

The Gertrude Marshall Society helps guide a new initiative devoted to the peaceful resolution of conflicts that may occur in families, schools, neighborhoods and workplaces, in our nation and between nations. The Society supports new coperative efforts with the University, other groups and organizations in Missouri and beyond to make the world a safer, less violent and more democratic place for all!
