Digital Peace Intern and Justin Huang Scholar, Spring 2015
The Peace Studies Program at the University of Missouri is accepting applications for two paid internship of $750 each for spring semester 2015. The interships carry the expectation that the sudents will work for the Peace Studies Program for approximately five hours a week during the semester.
The internships will involve video recording of events, preparation of news stories and content for newsletters and our website, and advance organizing and publicity for a student leadership conference to be held in September 2015.
Interns must be registered students at MU. The criteria for selecting the interns will be academic achievement and also relevant experience in journalism, multimedia, and/or student organizations. International or Interdisciplinary Studies Majors with a component in Peace Studies are especially encouraged to apply. A complete application consists of a letter stating qualifications for the position, a transcript, and a resume highlighting relevant experience.
