Peace Studies Scholarships
John Galliher Peace Studies Scholarship
Provides a $2,000 merit-based scholarship for up three graduating students excelling in their senior capstone or internship projects (PEA_ST 4970: Senior Thesis I or PEA_ST 3280: Internship in Peace Studies). These students will publicly present their projects before graduation and have them bound and deposited in the Peace Studies Resource Center for future student research. Charles L. Atkins Peace Studies Scholarship
Provides one annual scholarship to students who are majors or minors in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Peace Studies in the College of Arts and Science, University of Missouri-Columbia. Selected recipients must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (b+).
Purpose: Student Support
Award amount: $1,000
Application deadline: November 29 (annually)
Award notification deadline: February 1 (annually)

Justin C. Huang Peace Studies Scholarship
One or more annual scholarship awards shall be given to upper-level undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Arts and Science, University of Missouri-Columbia, who have a declared major in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Peace Studies or International Studies with an emphasis in Peace Studies. Recipients must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (b+) or above and have demonstrated active involvement and leadership in promoting the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Award amount: $1,500

Peace Studies Enhancement Scholarship
To support the work of the Peace Studies Program at MU. Graduate and undergraduate students may apply to this fund to support academic and community discussions around issues related to resolving conflict and achieving peace nationally or internationally. Recipients must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (b+) or above and have demonstrated active involvement and leadership in promoting the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
